The stewardship of Camino Farms began when Pierce and Katie Keating acquired 200 acres in Berks County, Pennsylvania in 2021. Guided by prayer and a touch of impulsiveness, they founded this retreat center near Philadelphia with the hope of creating a community where every individual is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to embrace their unique gifts and purpose.
Mission
Camino Farms is dedicated to serving marginalized populations, with particular sensitivity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We offer accessible lodging, adaptive activities, and caring, trauma-informed hospitality that provide space for rest, connection, and renewal.
What We Believe
Everything here grows together. Our working farm supplies fresh, protein-rich food to partner nonprofits through our Provisions program. Our facilities are designed to be inclusive and accessible. Our programming is trauma-informed and thoughtfully crafted for people of all abilities. And our community welcomes everyone to discover deeper meaning, dignity, and purpose.
