The stewardship of Camino Farms began in January 2023, when Pierce and Katie Keating acquired the property at 16 Kutztown Road. Guided by prayer, and a touch of impulsiveness, they founded Camino Farms with the hope of creating a place to ignite the spirit, bring joy, and offer peace amidst the pace of everyday life. Rooted in the Gospel values of hospitality, compassion, truth, and beauty, Camino Farms aspires to be a community where each individual is welcomed, valued, and encouraged to embrace their unique gifts and purpose. “Camino,” meaning “way” or “path,” was the name early Christians gave to their community. It is the hope and prayer of Camino Farms that all who come here will find their own path to belonging, beauty, and the boundless love of God. The Keatings also hope that, through experiences at Camino Farms, guests will grow in awareness of our shared responsibility to care for both people and the planet, living out faith in harmony with all of God’s creation. Camino Farms is a 501(c)(3) under the guidance of the USCCB.

Facilities for camping and retreat experiences are currently under development and will begin welcoming mission-aligned organizations in spring 2026. In our early years, we will focus on offering hospitality services to groups doing vital work in service, justice, and community-building, while also discerning the long-term vision for Camino Farms. As part of our commitment to food justice, we are actively seeking partners to help distribute our first year’s harvest.
